Nation’s No. 1 Kicker Harran Zureikat Commits to Georgia

The University of Georgia has added another major weapon to its football arsenal with the commitment of Harran Zureikat, the nation’s No. 1 ranked kicker. Zureikat, widely regarded for his precision, leg strength, and poise under pressure, announced his decision to join the Bulldogs, solidifying Georgia’s special teams future.

Coming out of high school with a reputation for clutch performances and long-range accuracy, Zureikat was heavily recruited by top programs across the country. His consistent ability to convert from 50+ yards and deliver on kickoffs made him a standout in the 2025 recruiting class. Many analysts view him as a game-changer, capable of influencing field position and putting points on the board in high-pressure situations.

Georgia, already a powerhouse in college football, continues to reload rather than rebuild. Zureikat’s commitment signals the program’s dedication to maintaining dominance in all three phases of the game—offense, defense, and special teams. Head Coach Kirby Smart praised Zureikat as a “rare talent” and a “critical addition” who brings immediate value and future leadership.

Zureikat’s decision adds excitement among the Georgia fan base, who are eager to see the top-ranked kicker don the red and black. With national championship aspirations every season, the Bulldogs just added another elite piece to their puzzle.
