Coventry City rookie a ‘potential target’ for Europa League outfit.
The latest Coventry City news from CoventryLive as this young forward has captured the attention of a Belgian top flight club.
Norman Bassette is being targeted for a return to Belgium before he has even made his mark at Coventry City.
That’s according to website Anderlecht-online who claim the Belgian Pro League outfit have put the 20-year-old ‘on the list of potential transfer targets’.
However, they claim the Brussels-based team are not the only club monitoring Bassette’s position at the CBS Arena.

They point out that the striker has previously worked with Anderlecht’s manager Besnik Hasi and claim Standard have ‘expressed an interest’.
They also admit that Bassette is keen to remain at Coventry to prove himself to Frank Lampard, who has made no secret of the fact the former Caen player has plenty of work to do to.
So far Bassette has scored only two goals in 29 appearances in Sky Blue and just 11 Championship starts and one goal came last season. The youngster signed a four-year deal when he joined the club in August last year and is up against the likes of Ellis Simms, Haji Wright and Brandon Thomas-Asante for regular game-time.
