Vitor Pereira now told three signings he should look to make for Wolves after Fer Lopez…
Wolves completed their first signing of the summer a few days ago, with Fer Lopez joining from Celta Vigo – and fans now hope the club keep their foot on the gas.
Wanderers brought in Lopez for around £19.5 million, and hope that he will bring some creativity from the right side.
It’s expected Lopez will operate in the right 10 position.
He may not start the season in the team, although a strong position may see him get the nod from Vitor Pereira.
But the efforts of Jean-Ricner Bellegarde and Marshall Munetsi last season may make it difficult for him.
Wolves also want another number 10, so that could mean more competition.
But it’s good to see that Wolves have now got the ball rolling – and Steve Bull has shared what Wolves should or might be looking to do next.

It is paramount that Wolves keep the momentum going.

A number of players have already departed the club, and manager Pereira has expressed his concern over transfers.
While there is no need for panic yet, some couldn’t help but draw parallels to Julen Lopetegui, Gary O’Neil and Bruno Lage, who all voiced their concerns about squad depth and player recruitment.
It is a huge window, and Wolves cannot leave Pereira high and dry.
But it was recently suggested the ‘penny has dropped’ at Wolves regarding the need to spend, so hopefully a productive couple of months lie in wait.
For Steve Bull, Wolves should now be looking to make three new signings after Lopez.

He said in his latest E&S column: “Bringing in another striker to push Larsen for his place would be ideal. I like it when we have players fighting for their place, I absolutely love it, because it keeps you on your toes.
“Our midfield two with Joao Gomes and Andre are cemented, but I think we need an attacking midfielder to add to that.”
Bull added that there is a big need to replace Matheus Cunha’s output, and ideally Wolves will land that second attacking midfielder they are targeting.
Bull also feels a new right wing-back could be on the cards: “We’re still waiting to hear what will happen with Nelson Semedo and if he doesn’t stay we will need a senior replacement at right-wing-back.”
Wolves could make several more signings after Lopez
So that’s a new number 10, a striker and a right wing-back on Bull’s wishlist, and Wolves could very easily add three players for those positions.
But Wolves are also said to be prioritising a new goalkeeper, with uncertainty surrounding Jose Sa this summer.
Pereira may decide to try and bring in someone for the left wing-back position after Rayan Ait-Nouri left, although Hugo Bueno is an option for Wolves.
Wolves have been looking at central defenders too, with the likes of Christopher Wooh of interest.
And given the uncertainty over Tommy Doyle and Boubacar Traore, it’s not out of the question we could see a central midfielder brought in.
Surely, this is going to be one very hectic window.
