BREAKING: Newcastle United Assist Manager Jason Tindall Has Officially Left Newcastle United Football Club 5-minutes ago with Immediate Effect As Newcastle United Immediately Looks For Replacement this morning, this is because of….

Newcastle United awaiting new dressing room rules with Jason Tindall set for more airtime.

New Premier League rules could see extra access for Newcastle United staff and more work for the media team.

Newcastle United assistant manager Jason Tindall is no stranger to the limelight after being thrust in front of the cameras last season.

Tindall was placed in charge of first-team affairs during Eddie Howe’s unfortunate grapple with pneumonia, leaving his number 2 to deal with the media for a number of press conferences. However, new Premier League rules mooted to be coming in next season could mean that Tindall’s words of wisdom will be hitting the airwaves more frequently in the 2025/26 campaign.

From next season onwards, Newcastle’s media team will have to provide broadcasters with a member of staff to speak to at half-time for a flash interview as the players head to the dressing room. The new rules don’t rule out quick pieces with Eddie Howe but at a time in the game when the boss may want to be fully focused on tactics and team talks, he could well pass on the duties to either Tindall or former England coach Graeme Jones.

The new criteria will also see footage coming directly from the dressing rooms with such broadcasts already taking place in rugby league coverage and early rounds of the FA Cup, albeit often muted.

Other changes could see a player who has been substituted have a mic pushed his way with Sky Sports already trialling such interviews last season towards the end of term. But the moves have not gone down well with fans with one observer saying: “Next season’s gonna feel like reality TV Premier League going full behind-the-scenes mode.”

And another comment reading: “Imagine you just had the biggest stinker of your life, missed an open goal and got subbed off knowing damn well you are never starting again and the reporters are on your face asking how are you feeling.”
