Simon Jordan suggests the Friedkins could be about to pull off transfer masterstroke at Everton.
Everton have now found their replacement for Dominic Calvert-Lewin with the signing of Thierno Barry.
David Moyes has finally seen a new face walk through the doors on Merseyside with his players now back in training.
Angus Kinnear has admitted a huge summer awaits Everton following the mass exodus of out-of-contract players at the end of June.
Only one new face has landed on Merseyside, though.
Thierno Barry will be considered the new starting striker at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, but Moyes is open to signing two strikers this summer.
TalkSPORT pundit Simon Jordan now believes Everton could pull off a great piece of business, having allowed Calvert-Lewin to depart.

Simon Jordan thinks Everton could pull off transfer masterstroke
Everton have shown an interest in Callum Wilson who has now parted ways with Newcastle United as a free agent.
Ironically, Calvert-Lewin has also sparked the attention of the Magpies as a potential replacement.
Speaking on TalkSPORT, Jordan has claimed Wilson is a significantly better option than the former Everton striker.
“I’m not an admirer of Calvert-Lewin. I think he’s a decent player, I don’t really understand the thinking behind Newcastle’s interest,” he said.
“Ultimately, I think Callum Wilson is infinitely a better player, more of a goal threat. They’re worried about his fitness, then surely they must have the same thinking about Calvert-Lewin.”
In comparison, Alan Pardew thinks Everton made a mistake letting Calvert-Lewin go on a free.
The reality is any other striker to land on Merseyside will find himself playing behind Barry and Beto in the pecking order.

Callum Wilson would cause Everton similar issues to Calvert-Lewin
Although Everton are prioritising attacking signings this summer, there has to be some caution over a player like Wilson.
The former Newcastle striker has an injury record which puts Calvert-Lewin’s to shame over recent years.
24/25 injuries Games missed Days missed
Hamstring 14 61
Back 15 130.
Of course, Everton would bring in some considerable experience with Wilson, but questions would be asked as to how much football he’d be capable of playing.
Wilson is available as a free agent, but Everton must be considering other options given his struggles through injury.
