
David Moyes’ reaction says it all after what Harrison Armstrong has just done in Everton training…
Everton’s pre-season training is ramping up with the team making the trip north of the border to Scotland.
Despite heading to David Moyes’ homeland, the Blues have been treated to a warm weather camp with the sun beaming down on them.
Everton will now be returning to Merseyside ahead of their away trip to face Accrington Stanley on Tuesday evening.
Another friendly awaits the Blues on Saturday against Blackburn Rovers, but their options will be limited with just one new face through the door.
Everton are looking to add to their midfield this summer, despite Idrissa Gana Gueye extending his contract.
However, there has been one midfielder who is making a name for himself in these early stages of the summer preparations.

Harrison Armstrong impressing David Moyes in Everton training
Everton youngster Douglass Lukjanciks has impressed in training, but it is unlikely the 17-year-old could have an impact just yet on the senior side.
However, one player that certainly could is midfielder Harrison Armstrong, who spent the second half of last season out on loan with Derby County.

The Toffees released some extended footage from their Scotland training camp in a recent YouTube video.
A number of the drills were shown, in which Armstrong, who has been hailed ‘phenomenal‘, could be seen dominating his one-on-one duels against the likes of Dwight McNeil.
And it would be fair to say Moyes was absolutely loving what he saw from the 18-year-old, with constant praise being thrown his way by the Everton boss.
“Stay in Harrison,” Moyes said three times, but when the youngster landed the tackle on McNeil, Moyes burst out with: “Well done, Harrison!”
Armstrong is looking to earn a spot in Moyes’ plans for next season, as he looks to push on from his loan spell in the Championship.
He is certainly making a solid start to the summer, with Moyes ready to take Armstrong on Everton’s United States tour later this month.

Armstrong should be in Everton’s squad for this season
Moyes was really impressed with Armstrong’s loan stint away from the club with Derby County last season.
The 62-year-old even made the trip to Pride Park on a number of occasions to watch the midfielder in action.
Clearly, the youngster has worked his way into the manager’s thinking, but Moyes has said Armstrong has to earn his place.
Everton fans will likely still be demanding another midfielder to be added, but having Armstrong rise into the starting XI could certainly take some of the pressure off the recruitment team this summer.
