Fulham make Rodrigo Muniz exit plan following Leeds United offer – Sky Sports Journalist…
Leeds United made an offer for Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz earlier in the summer, and it leaves the Cottagers planning for the eventuality that they allow a key forward to leave.
Daniel Farke’s credentials as a Premier League manager are unsurprisingly being called into question as Leeds head to the top flight, but already, we’re seeing that the 49ers are looking to give the German much fairer go at it than Norwich City did.
Investing heavily into the squad is a non-negotiable, and that includes strengthening a great deal in how effective the side is in both boxes.
Leeds United handed Rodrigo Muniz boost as Fulham continue to prepare for possible exit
Very early in the summer window, Leeds lodged an ambitious bid to sign Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz, offering £26million plus a further £6million in add-ons.

The Craven Cottage club turned down that bid, with Muniz technically entering the final 12 months of his contract in July, but with Fulham holding an option to extend it by a year until 2027.
Despite Muniz being a very popular figure at the West London club and boasting a strong goal return for 17 goals in his last two campaigns, he only managed eight league starts in 24/25 and Leeds may sense an opportunity to strike.
Their chances of softening Fulham’s stance may be boosted by a report from Sky Sports journalist Sacha Tavolieri, claiming that Marco Silva’s side have targeted Genk striker Tolu Arokodare specifically as a replacement plan for Muniz, should he leave:
Fulham have already been linked with moves to sign other strikers too, including Goztepe’s Romulo and Inter Milan’s Mehdi Taremi – while Leeds have already been claimed to be planning a second bid.
Rodrigo Muniz capture would be huge statement of intent from Leeds United
Business has been steady so far for Leeds with three signings made already, but Muniz would be the big statement of the summer.
On top of a goalkeeper that can over-perform in keeping shots out, Leeds need someone who can take chances to keep the side in the division.
Muniz has proven his credentials at Fulham as being a superb lone striker that can do a bit of everything, including taking his chances.
He’d come in at a potential club-record fee for us, but Leeds need drastic improvements in both boxes to stick their Premier League landing.
