Kenny Tete is set to be the second summer signing for David Moyes and Everton.

The Fulham right-back is set to fill the void in Moyes’ defence as the Everton backline is desperately lacking on that right-hand side.

Nathan Patterson isn’t trusted by Moyes, so it was clear a new full-back would come through the door, and Tete has an ‘agreement’ with Everton.

The Toffees adding the Dutchman will give experience to a defence which is already seen as a strong component of Moyes’ plans.

Evertonians are excited by Tete’s arrival, and he’s already shown his worth on the Goodison Park stage.

The right-back is 29 and has already endured four seasons of Premier League football, so he definitely fits the bill for the Scotsman.

Moyes wants players with character, and it seems as though after excelling under Marco Silva during his time in West London, Tete has exactly that.

Fans will already know of his promise though, after he played for Fulham against Everton this campaign.

Evertonians will remember the 1-1 draw under Sean Dyche as Beto scored a rare goal in the 94th minute, but from Fulham’s side of things, it was Tete who stood out.
