Doug King has set out Coventry City’s “mission” after securing principal partner Monzo for another year.

Following a successful partnership in the 2024/25 season, Monzo and the Sky Blues have agreed a new deal that, the club say, “will continue to grow the exciting relationship” between the two companies.

Club owner King highlighted the success of the digital bank over the last decade and says the football club intend to follow in its footsteps with their own ambitions to mix it with the big boys of the Premier League by re-establishing itself as one of the top clubs in the country.

The Monzo logo will adorn the front of Coventry City’s shirts in the 2025/26 season, while Monzo Business will also be on the back of shirts as the partnership expands further.

Coventry City and Monzo began relationship last summer and teamed up on a number of initiatives for Sky Blues fans including cashback offers and competitions for supporters. The expanded partnership comes at an exciting time for Coventry City as Frank Lampard embarks on this first full season in charge of the Club, backed by a record number of Season Ticket holders.

Doug King, Owner and Executive Chairman at Coventry City, said: “Building a huge customer base from scratch in only ten years and disrupting the status quo of traditional banking with creative and innovative approaches to using and managing money is a significant achievement and we are proud to continue and expand our partnership with Monzo.
