Coventry City complete transfer move as left-back heads out.

Coventry City transfer news from CoventryLive as the Sky Blues confirm the departure of another of the club’s up and coming players to get valuable first team experience.

Coventry City have sent another Under-21 player out on loan to gain valuable first team experience to further their development.

Young Sky Blues defender Harvey Broad has today joined non-league Dagenham & Redbridge, coming a week after fellow development player Isaac Moore joined Forest Green Rovers.

The 19-year-old left-back will join The Daggers on a season-long loan, in their first season back in the National League South.

Broad, who joined City from Chatham Town last season was a regular for the Under-21s side during the 2024/25 campaign and also featured in the first team matchday squad for the Sky Blues against Preston North End in the Championship and Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup.

Announcing the news, the club wrote: “Everyone at Coventry City would like to wish Harvey the best of luck during his loan spell.”

Along with Broad and Moore, a number of other of City’s Under-21s are expected to be sent out to get experience. Striker Aidan Dausch has already been linked with a move to join Moore at Forest Green where Robbie Savage was recently appointed as manager.
