Not only is the 62-year-old requiring an increase in quality, but he is also in need of added numbers to his squad.

Everton have agreed terms to sign Travers, and the goalkeeper has already undergone his medical at Finch Farm.

However, the Toffees are only scratching the surface in what is going to be a busy summer in the transfer market.

It always promised to be a hectic summer window for Everton, and the Toffees still have a lot of work to do.

But the exact number of signings Moyes is looking to bring in has now just been shared.

The Toffees still have plenty of work to pull off in the recruitment room before they make the trip over to the United States.

According to the Daily Mail, Moyes is now keen to bring in another four to six new signings once Travers is confirmed as an Everton player.

The Friedkins are backing Everton financially after what was a cautious January transfer market on Merseyside.

And they are going to need to put their hands in their pockets, considering the number of departures as free agents already this summer.

Angus Kinnear expected an ‘unprecedented’ summer at Everton, and he has certainly had his work cut out since joining from Leeds United.

Everton could even need more than six signings
A considerable number of players departed Everton as free agents last month, and even the extension of Seamus Coleman may not have a great effect on the pitch.

Moyes was keen to keep Coleman’s experience around for the move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Considering Everton will be looking to utilise the loan market once again, four to six signings does feel like the minimum of what they could require.

Of course, Everton were always going to be unlikely to get all their signings through the door in time for the trip to America, but this could concern some fans.
