Fosun have already gone back on their June promise Vitor Pereira must be fuming at Wolves.
Wolves fans are experiencing a familiar sinking feeling in the summer transfer window, and it is all because of Fosun.
The Premier League kicks off in three weeks, and unfortunately, Wolves have only completed two signings after offloading many of their first-team stars, most notably Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri.
Wolves captured Fer Lopez from Celta Vigo in June, while the addition of Jhon Arias on Thursday was met with positivity from supporters.
But, with plenty of gaps that still need plugging in the squad and continuously missing out on their targets, Vitor Pereira has already warned Fosun and his recruitment team to pull their finger out.
As it stands, the Wanderers are far away from achieving Pereira’s aim of finishing in mid-table in 2025/26 and also proving one theory correct.

Wolves fans are yet to see the ‘penny drop’ with Fosun after claims in June.
At the start of the summer, Wolves carried out a recruitment restructure, seeing Matt Hobbs leave his role as sporting director and Domenico Teti join as a director of football.
Teti worked with Pereira during his time at Al Shabab, and the 49-year-old was brought in to support the Portuguese tactician with his efforts in the transfer window.
For the longest time, Wolves have operated with a self-sustaining model, with Fosun refusing to pump money into the club and instead relying on player sales to fund their business.
However, in June, it was claimed by journalist Johnny Phillips that the ‘penny had dropped’ with Fosun, suggesting they were willing to invest in the football club in an attempt to climb away from the threat of relegation.
“I think the penny has dropped with lots of people higher up that you have to invest to a certain level if you want to progress the club,” Phillips wrote. “Or at least keep them in a position where they’re not just lingering above the relegation zone and fighting a losing battle almost from the opening months of the season.
“I think the past two years have had a slight sense of waste about them in that, Wolves have been on the back foot behind the eight ball, and they’ve then spent time trying to recover their positions.
“It would be nice to think that you could have a starting block when the squad is in good shape at the start of the season, rather than maybe bringing in players in the mid-season transfer window and desperately trying to avoid a relegation battle.”
Currently, Fosun and chairman Jeff Shi have gone against achieving what was claimed by Phillips, as Wolves threaten to begin August with only two signings through the door and only £36 million spent.

Wolves are the third-lowest spenders in the Premier League so far
Wolves have seen the impact that being ill-prepared in the summer can have on the season. The Old Gold have constantly battled relegation in the last few campaigns, and that was because they didn’t get their business done early.
Newly-promoted Sunderland are outspending Wolves, as are Burnley and Leeds United. If they aren’t careful, one or two of those sides could finish above them in the table.
Only Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace have spent less than the Old Gold in the window so far, although Palace are closing in on the signing of Wolves target Evan Guessand.
What makes things worse is, Wolves are in a strong position with PSR after multiple big sales and can splash the cash, but Fosun continue to hold them back by penny pinching.
