Crystal Palace have just submitted a £28m bid which could make life harder for Tottenham…
Crystal Palace and Tottenham have both only made two new signings this summer.
The south Londoners have added Walter Benitez and Borna Sosa, while Spurs have signed Mohammed Kudus and Kota Takai – who is already injured.
A new standout central defender is on the list for both Crystal Palace and Tottenham, although the Eagles might have just made it a bit tougher for Spurs to sign one defensive target in Koni De Winter.
Inter Milan want Koni De Winter as Crystal Palace push to sign Yann Bisseck
Gazzetta dello Sport are claiming that Crystal Palace have now submitted a €32m (£28m) bid to sign Yann Bisseck amid doubts over the future of Marc Guehi.
The Italian news outlet believe Inter Milan want €40m (£35m) to sell the Germany international, but are open to cashing in and have plans to sign De Winter as his replacement.
That is where Tottenham come in.
Ben Jacobs claimed earlier in July that Tottenham had made an approach for De Winter – as had Inter Milan – with Thomas Frank eager to bolster his backline.
However, Gazzetta dello Sport say that the Belgium international is the No.1 target to replace Bisseck, and the Italian giants have already discovered his €25m (£22m) price tag, so a deal does appear to be in progress.
Liverpool want Marc Guehi, but Tottenham cannot be ruled out
At this moment in time, it feels as if Guehi is most likely to join Liverpool once Crystal Palace sign a replacement.
The England international is understood to be open to the move, and Liverpool badly need a new face in that department. Ibrahima Konate is refusing to sign a new deal, Joe Gomez has injury problems, while Virgil van Dijk turns 35 next year.

However, Tottenham made a £70m bid for Guehi back in February and remain attentive to his situation at Selhurst Park, where he only has 11 months left on his contract.
Therefore, once Crystal Palace sign Bisseck, it is feasible that Spurs make another attempt to bring the man born in Abidjan to Hotspur Way.
