EXCLUSIVE!!!! Newcastle United Football Club Disgruntled PIF Chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan Officially Released The Following Heartbreaking Statement To Magpies Fans Prior To D…..

Yasir Al-Rumayyan steps in to sort Newcastle United mess – Report…

With just over three weeks until the start of the season, perhaps no Newcastle fan could have expected the transfer window to pan out this badly.

Anthony Elanga remains the only first team signing brought in this summer, with the likes of Liam Delap, Joao Pedro, Bryan Mbeumo and James Trafford each joining a Big Six rival despite our strong interest.

And of course, there’s now the news that Alexander Isak is keen to depart the club and is ‘exploring his options’, with Liverpool being the front runner to sign the Swede, something which Isak himself reportedly wants.

But we are of course under no obligation to sell, particularly if the club’s Chairman has any say on the matter…

PIF Governor to intervene in Isak saga
According to The Telegraph, PIF Governor and Newcastle United’s Chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan is set to decide on what the club should do over Alexander Isak and his short term future.

Al-Rumayyan has been vocal about his admiration for the player, and previously told the club’s higher-ups they need to keep the player by any means necessary.

Luke Edwards writes that “Al-Rumayyan’s direct involvement is unusual at Newcastle, with the chairman normally taking a backseat in the day-to-day running of the club.”

But given the immense gravity of the situation, both that Isak has potentially played his last game for the Magpies and could be set to go to the reigning champions, it’s no surprise that the Chairman has had to step in to make sure a big decision actually gets made.

What could be done to convince Isak to stay?
As mentioned before, the club has no obligation to sell Isak this summer: his contract ends in three years time, and with how integral he is to the way we play and perform, why should we sell before the biggest season in our recent history?

Of course, Eddie Howe will want a fully harmonious squad, and the club will want everyone to be fighting for the badge above all else.

So perhaps the only way to satisfy Isak’s supposed demands, that being heavy investment in the side as well as a significant wage increase, is to offer exactly those things.

This Isak saga should be the catalyst for the club to finally start realising potential commercial and financial opportunities, as though the threat of a PSR-related points deduction will be bad, we’ll perhaps lose more points not having Isak in the side to begin with.
