Derby County head coach John Eustace was thrilled to secure the futures of Craig Forsyth and Matt Clarke for the new season.
Clarke signed a three-year deal at the end of the campaign after he starred in the club’s relegation fight having returned to the club for a third time when he signed from Middlesbrough in January.
Forsyth then also followed suit on Monday when he penned a two-year deal, a reward for some outstanding performances in the back end of the campaign as the club fended off relegation.

Speaking at a fans’ forum on Tuesday night, Derby head coach Eustace was delighted to wrap up their signatures given their impact on the team.
“I was very fortunate to play with Foz during my time here and when we asked him to play the last 12 games I think it was, he played left centre-back, left-back and left wing-back.
“I thought his performances were excellent so I wanted him to be on the journey going forward. He deserved that. He is Derby County through and through.
