Blackburn Rovers have started to make moves in the transfer market as they look to shape the squad to the liking of manager Valérien Ismaël.
The Lancashire club have already made two signings, with the latest being Sidnei Tavares from Portuguese club Moreirense on a three-year deal.
Tavares will be looking to buck the trend of how Portuguese players have performed in blue and white in Lancashire after his move to Ewood Park.

His signing has helped increase the options in the centre of midfield at Rovers, with fans hoping to see another signing in this area while other recruits should be added in a number of areas.
However, for fans there may be concerns about the links to one of their favourite players leaving the club for Championship rivals.

As per information from our Chief Football Correspondent, Graeme Bailey, EFL Analysis can exclusively reveal that Blackburn Rovers want to make it a ‘tough deal for anyone’ to sign Travis.

Blackburn are keen to keep their captain but are aware of the vast interest in their player, with Coventry, Derby, Middlesbrough, Wrexham, and Birmingham all linked.
However, the 27-year-old is one of the Rovers players that demands a fee due to still being under contract, with Blackburn hoping that it turns into ‘something of an auction’ if he is to leave the club.

Lewis Travis has been a dependable player for Rovers for a number of years, with him operating in front of the defence to provide cover and sniff out opposition attacks.
