West Ham star Lucas Paqueta jets into UK after FA ban update…
West Ham ace Lucas Paqueta is set to return to the UK.
The Brazil international has spent time away from East London this summer after a hugely difficult campaign in the Premier League.
This came in the midst of a spot-fixing trial, which has caused a number of personal issues for the 27-year-old, reflected by his performances in claret and blue.
The attacking midfielder is now awaiting the result of his alleged charges ahead of a link-up with Graham Potter and Co. in E20.

Everyone associated with the Irons just wants to know what is going to happen with the number 10, as the saga has dragged out for far too long.
This comes after nearly two years of waiting as news broke of the spot-fixing probe back in August 2023.
Even with this sizable wait, there is still no end in sight as the Brazilian awaits results weeks after the trial came to an end, something he was told could take up to eight weeks [The Guardian, 4 June].
This is not only affecting the ex-Lyon man but is having a telling impact on West Ham and their finances this summer, something which can’t continue.
With that being said, Paqueta is still making his way back to the UK ahead of preseason with the Hammers, which kicks off in the coming days.
This has been confirmed by the Brazilian himself via his Instagram story (5 June), as he posted a picture of himself on a plane accompanied by an England flag.

Paqueta will hope for FA hearing result after UK return
At this stage in proceedings, frustration will continue to surround the Irons ace after so many months of waiting for an update on his charges.
This was showcased by his tears on the pitch against Tottenham, something which summed up the toll that this is taking on the left-footed ace.
It will now be interesting to see how long Paqueta is forced to wait for results after returning to England, despite a potential lifetime ban hanging over him.
