THE Cherries have lodged a bid for Chelsea goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic, but there is still some way to go for the deal to be completed, the Daily Echo understands.

Bournemouth are looking to make reinforcements in their goalkeeping department after Blues loanee Kepa Arrizabalaga returned to the club, since joining Arsenal.

The offer for the stopper has yet to be accepted, but negotiations ‘remain positive’, according to the BBC.
