£68m Star Wants to Join Arsenal With Gyokeres as Deal ‘Accelerates’..
Arsenal’s transfer window has picked up the pace in the last two weeks, and they could be set for more good news at the Emirates Stadium – with reports suggesting that Eberechi Eze wants to move to north London from south London side Crystal Palace.
The Gunners have already signed Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard, whilst a deal to take Noni Madueke from Chelsea is edging closer to completion, and they are honing in on a move for Sporting star Viktor Gyokeres. However, Eze could be next in their sights as a result of his interest in a move to Selhurst Park.

The England star, despite Arsenal’s interest, is not expected to push for a move away from Selhurst Park after the most successful season of his career, though he is keen to play in the Champions League and compete for trophies on a regular basis.
The publication stated last week that Arsenal are prepared to meet Eze’s release clause if they can reach an agreement over the structure of a deal, and although manager Oliver Glasner is reluctant to let his star leave, the clubs are continuing in negotiations with the Gunners unable to pay the full £68million valuation up front.
The club are instead aiming to structure a payment with a significant sum up front, with the rest paid in instalments, and there is a feeling that progress has been made on that front.
Eze’s interest in a movement could be key to Arsenal’s pursuit, and the attacking midfielder believes that he can make an impact in the final third of the pitch in a bid to finally fire Arsenal to silverware – something they haven’t won for five years, whilst Eze played a key part in Palace’s FA Cup win back in May.
GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Eberechi Eze has 11 caps for England, scoring once.
The £100,000-a-week star has 68 goal involvements in 167 games for Palace in all competitions, though if he doesn’t move, he’ll still feature in the Conference League after their demotion from the Europa League due to a multi-club ownership with Lyon, who are in the same competition.
