The Tractor Boys face a fight to keep key players like Omari Hutchinson after already seeing Liam Delap depart for Chelsea. However, one key player now on the verge of a move away is captain Sam Morsy.
It has been rumoured that the Ipswich Town midfielder will move on this summer and the Ipswich Star now reports that Morsy is set to join Kuwaiti side Kuwait FC on a permanent deal.
A fee will not be demanded for the ITFC man, who is set to land lucrative personal terms. Morsy wants to remain a regular starter and with such a role not guaranteed ahead of next season as he enters the last year of his deal, a smooth exit is being facilitated.
Derby County had eyed a move to keep the 33-year-old in the Championship, but a move to the Middle East now awaits.

Morsy has been a key figure throughout this rise and while the step up to the top flight perhaps proved a step too far for the Egyptian, he remained a vital leader and an influential player in the dressing room.
