Morgan Gibbs-White Tottenham transfer twist amid Nottingham Forest stance claim..
Morgan Gibbs-White’s future at the City Ground is firmly in the spotlight during the summer transfer window..
Nottingham Forest’s preference would be to sell Morgan Gibbs-White to another club rather than Tottenham if he exits the City Ground this summer, according to reports.
Gibbs-White appeared to be on the verge of a move to Spurs when they triggered a £60m release clause in his contract.
A medical was reportedly due to take place, but Forest were furious over what they considered to be an illegal approach and the potential move came to a halt.

The Daily Mail now report the Reds would prefer to keep Gibbs-White “out of the clutches” of Tottenham and sell him to a rival club, if they sell him this summer, with Spurs said to be weighing up a fresh bid.
Gibbs-White did not travel with the Forest squad to their pre-season training camp in Portugal on Monday.
But his absence from the travelling party was not related to the transfer interest from Tottenham.
He stayed at home due to a private matter and is expected to link up with the Reds squad later this week.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has refused to speak about the situation.
Speaking at his first press conference as Spurs boss, Frank said: “You know me well so I will use what I’ve always said is that I won’t speak about players from outside the club.”
