JUST IN: With this we are good to go “Dolphins coach blast”

NFL Week 7 Sunday Night Football DraftKings Picks: DFS lineup recommendations for the Eagles-Dolphins Showdown

On Sunday Night Football (8:20 p.m. ET, NBC), the Eagles and Dolphins will play in Philadelphia in one of the most eagerly anticipated matchups of the 2023 NFL season. We will present what we believe to be the ideal daily fantasy roster for this titanic struggle today.

Mike McDaniel: A look at Miami Dolphins NFL head coach

Although not quite as good as their 8-0 start from the previous season, Jalen Hurts and the defending NFC champion Eagles have begun the season off well. Nick Sirianni’s team, which is 5-1 and has the third-most points in the conference, will be attempting to avenge last week’s humiliating comeback loss to the Jets under the leadership of Zach Wilson.

The Dolphins also have a terrible loss on their early-season record: a 48-20 beating at the hands of the division rival Bills in Week 4. If that game were not played, Miami would rank among the most dominant teams in NFL history. Through perseverance and overcoming injuries, Mike McDaniel’s team has amassed 223 points through six games, which ranks sixth all-time.

At the conclusion of this primetime match, unless we get a freaky-deaky tie, one of these two sides will have earned a sixth victory, while the other will have suffered its second defeat. From a traditional betting standpoint, it’s a difficult game to handicap, but we think our chances of winning our DraftKings DFS tournaments are great.

Here are the important score parameters for DraftKings Showdown competitions before we discuss our lineup and strategy: They are full-point PPR contests with three-point extras for throwing for 300 yards, rushing for 100 yards, and catching for 100 yards. The Captain pick increases a player’s cost by 1.5 but also increases his point total by 1.5.

Eagles-Dolphins DraftKings Picks: DFS lineup for Week 7 Sunday Night Football

$50,000 budget, need at least one player from each team.

Captain (1.5x points, 1.5x salary): AJ Brown, WR, Eagles ($15,000)

Remember how DeVonta Smith was rumored to be Philadelphia’s new No. 1 receiver at the beginning of the season? Yes, the story quickly lost its momentum. Despite playing against teams with good defenses (at TB, vs. WAS, at LAR, and at NYJ), Brown has been outstanding over the past month, collecting 111.4 DK points across four games.

Eagles WR AJ Brown reveals what led to fallout with Titans | Yardbarker

Given that Brown was only the fourth-most costly player in this game according to DK, Brown is the most logical choice for the captain position. The veteran receiver averages 22.2 DK points a game and 27.9 over the last four contests, and he’s up against one of the top 10 QB-friendly defenses in terms of fantasy point allowance.

This appears to be a fantastic play, one

FLEX Tyreek Hill, WR, Dolphins ($12,000)

For three reasons, the calls for Tyreek to be named MVP have become louder: It’s been a terrible year for quarterbacks in general, and Justin Jefferson and Christian McCaffrey have both lately sustained injuries. Hill is the most game-changing player on the top offensive unit in sports. This appears to be the year, if a wideout will ever win it once more.

Hill’s fantasy scores and stats have a video game-like feel to them. He began the year with 47.5 DK points against the Chargers in Los Angeles, and over Miami’s last four games, he has recorded totals of 33.7, 35.1, and 31.3 DK points. Philly allows wide receivers to score the sixth-fewest fantasy points per game.

FLEX Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Dolphins ($10,600)

Simply because Tua has been a superior passer this year than Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown, we would choose to stack Tua with Hill. The Brotherly Shove, a Hurts cheat code, is available to Philly, but we believe the game will come down to a firefight.

We believe Tua is the better QB option simply because he has a stronger offensive system surrounding him. In each of the last two weeks, the MVP contender has cleared 21 points and broken 31 DK points twice. He is slated to appear on 24 this coming Sunday night.

FLEX D’Andre Swift, RB, Eagles ($8,000)

D'Andre Swift takes center stage with 175 yards rushing and bails out Jalen Hurts and the Eagles

In his first season in Philadelphia, Swift has been fantastic behind the Eagles’ outstanding offensive line, playing like a Pro Bowler. Despite scarcely participating in Week 1 for whatever reason Nick Sirianni will never reveal, he is averaging 17.1 DK points per game. We adore this value play in the center of our flex lineup because the Dolphins have played below-average against the run this year.

FLEX Olamide Zaccheaus, WR, Eagles ($1,400)

In crucial moments in primetime games, supporting cast members frequently shine, so it wouldn’t surprise us in the slightest if Zaccheaus broke away for a score. He accomplished this on Monday Night Football earlier in the season, scoring 13.8 points and presumably assisting everyone who invested $200 in him in winning daily fantasy games. This time around, he’s not quite as inexpensive, but he’s still a good deal for a stars-and-scrubs construct.

FLEX Eagles DST ($3,000)

It’s a risky move, but if Philly can produce a few crucial sacks or takeaways or snags a pick-six, it may pay off nicely. The Eagles’ defense has not been quite as effective as it was during their run to the Super Bowl in the previous postseason, but it still has a strong pass rush and the ability to produce pivotal plays while playing at home. We could certainly do a lot worse than this dart-throw at the tail end of our roster, who averages over eight DK points a game.

Best Eagles-Dolphins DFS Picks

We’re also ranking our top single-game DFS plays on SuperDraft, as we do every week.

For those who are new, SuperDraft uses point multipliers for DFS scoring rather than the more conventional salary caps or tiered competitions. A strong mixture of stud fantasy contributors with 1x-1.6x boosts and matchup-based sleepers with higher multipliers will likely be included in a winning team. Based on the value that SuperDraft assigns to each player, a scoring multiplier is assigned to each player. There are no limitations on who users can roster in their starting lineup. The following are the most significant SuperDraft NFL scoring guidelines: Half-point PPR, four-point throwing touchdowns, and two-point bonuses for 100-yard rushes, 100-yard receptions, and 300-yard passes.Tyreek Hill, WR, Dolphins (1.5x), winner (+50% points)
Super FLEX: Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (1.75x)
Super FLEX: Eagles WR AJ Brown (1.8x)
Super FLEX: Eagles running back D’Andre Swift (2.1x)
Super FLEX: Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (2.35x)
With our SuperDraft team, we adopted a similar strategy, but we were forced to play Goedert at 2.35x toward the end of our FLEX construct. It’s difficult to choose five players when you have an unlimited budget and can only use the boost system, but we chose the two greatest wide receivers, the top quarterback in this game, and two potential upside skill position players for the home team. In his last five games, Swift has scored 100 PPR points, compared to Goedert’s 37.9 during the last two weeks. Let’s
