Journalist Explain Why Timberwolves Experienced Star Is Better Than Jayson Tatum

The Boston Celtics’ fan community has been complaining on social media for years about how Jayson Tatum is portrayed by the media and other fan communities.

Tatum is a very excellent player—possibly the best in the league—as everyone knows.

He hasn’t, however, ever been regarded as the best young player or one of the game’s future stars.

With a few other celebrities, like Anthony Edwards, that isn’t the case.

In light of this, NBA expert Jason Timpf argued that Edwards was superior to Tatum on the field (Via The Volume).

“Without a doubt, I would choose Anthony Edwards over Jayson Tatum at this moment,” Timpf declared.

Jayson Tatum is betting everything on Anthony Edwards to be the next big thing in the NBA. “I would take Anthony Edwards over Jayson Tatum right now in a heartbeat, no questions asked,” Jayson said.

He said that Edwards is just a better basketball player than Tatum and that he would pick him over Tatum any day of the week.

Timpf feels that Tatum and Edwards are similar in that they both occasionally settle for pull-up jump jumpers; the main distinction is that Tatum is less successful at them than Edwards is during the playoffs.

Along with Edwards’ general mentality and mindset to dominate a basketball game on both sides of the court, he believes that Edwards is a superior downhill athlete.

When the game is close, Edwards is a man who will take delight in containing the greatest player on the other team and lead by example. He also has the ability to command the basketball.

In addition, he brought a perpetually struggling squad to this point, while Tatum has always had well-stacked teams.

Ultimately, it is unnecessary to draw comparisons between exceptional players; but, as Timpf stated, Tatum may have reached his peak in order to surpass players like as Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Joel Embiid, or Luka Doncic.

But according to Edwards, that’s still possible.
