According to reports that surfaced this week, Dolphins owner Stephen Ross rejected offers totaling $10 billion for the franchise, its stadium, and the Miami Formula One race.
Dolphins president Tom Garfinkel stated emphatically on Monday that the team is not up for grabs.
Source: Hal Habib of the Palm Beach Post – “What I can say is that I know unequivocally that the team is not for sale,” stated Garfinkel.
Garfinkel continued, “I believe the price could be much higher than $10 billion, the team wouldn’t sell.” Therefore, neither the squad nor its leadership are for sale.
Thus, in my opinion, all of that is kind of irrelevant because Steve isn’t trying to sell the team.
It appears that Ross plans to pass the team down to his daughters.
That is a significant change from not so long ago, when it seemed as though Bruce Beal would eventually take over the team. It’s not going to be a Ross family affair—something occurred.
